Thoughts from a good friend about a good parent: When I first met Nigel, William had got in some trouble at school and had to write a note to his teacher explaining what he'd done during detention. William's letter was a 4-page parody on the incident which Nigel faxed to me, and seemed to very proud of William's comedic intellect and wit. He was actually very proud of all 3 of his kids, and bragged that they were smart, cultured, eclectic, poised, and mature beyond their years, yet all very different from each other. He was proud of Hayley's eye for photography.
